Cleaning of Water Supply Canals in Maidan Wardak Province
On May 8, 2023, cleaning activities of the 103,744 meter water supply canal in Hesa e Awal Behsood District of Maidan Wardak Province commenced. The duration of this project is 45 days and it will generate working opportunities for 649 skilled and unskilled laborers. The cleaning of the water supply canal will enable irrigation of 2,737 hectares of surrounding land.
