The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to provide short-term livelihood opportunities and deliver urgent basic services in rural and urban areas of Afghanistan. A total of 1.5 million households are expected to be direct beneficiaries of the Social Grants for the Most Vulnerable and Emergency Livelihoods Support for Rural and Urban areas. 14.4 million are expected to benefit from the services of the urban small-scale services financed under this Project.
